SELECTED WORKS

choreographed by Sarah Coolidge

Here, nor there

This piece was inspired by the quirky characters and objects present in the work of Dr. Seuss’s Bartholomew and the Oobleck, Yertle the Turtle, I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!, The Zax, and The Sneetches. Debuted at the Nazareth College Arts Center in March 2015. Performed by students in the Nazareth College Theatre and Dance Department.

the Raven

This work was a study in shape and time as it explores how obsessions can play out in our dreams, making it hard to forget and compounding grief. Originally debuted in April 2008 at St. Lawrence University’s Gulick Theatre. Seen here performed by Nazareth College Department of Theatre and Dance students.

Chocolate cake bake-off

This jazz dance piece, performed by Nazareth College Theatre and Dance Department students, was inspired by my love of chocolate cake and, in part, the work of Busby Berkeley and Motown. In this entertaining work dancers wove in and out of daydreams as they baked, protected, and ate chocolate cake. This piece originally debuted in December 2009 at St. Lawrence University’s Gulick Theatre. Seen here performed by students of the Nazareth College Theatre and Dance Department.
